Educational Reasearch Interests Applied research involving chemical engineering processes: reactor/reaction engineering, process dynamics, optimization and control. Special interests in theoretical and experimental analyses of reactors (catalytic and non-catalytic), chemical vapor deposition reactors for electronic materials, crystallization from the liquid phase, the modeling of complex behaviorr in dynamic systems, and the experimental techniques for the removal of trace elements from coal. Educational pedagogy, especially as relating to design in engineering. International education, with particular interesting in distance tele-learning in Africa and the Carribean.
